Due to concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in accordance with health guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), we have prepared the following guidance to ensure the proper health and safety of our personnel while maintaining a quality level of service.
All company personnel have been issued laptops as their primary workstation in order to maintain mobility in the case of a disaster. Due to the corona virus, personnel have been given authorization and the guidance on when to work from home.
The following actions have been taken to allow personnel to work from home:
• Our application infrastructure has been enabled to allow all personnel to work remotely via secure VPN connections. This will not cause material changes in VisualVault’s operations or security posture. • Personnel have been reminded of policies related to mobile devices and mobile work to maintain a proper security posture. • Connections to our infrastructure are limited to within the continental United States using encrypted VPN connections and multi-factor authentication. Continuity of Operations
Any personnel who are unable to work will have their critical duties filled following the guidance in the company Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plan until those personnel are either available again or replacement personnel are available. VisualVault has prepared for this specific scenario and has mapped critical processes, created internal procedures, and cross-trained on critical processes. Travel Guidance
TRAVEL GUIDELINES
• We are suspending all non-essential business travel in regions with active coronavirus cases. Essential business travel is any business travel that is required for maintaining operations, sales or customer services at contractually bound levels. • Employees may opt out of any business travel if they choose to do so. • Optional personal travel is discouraged at this time.
Preventative Guidance
We've asked our staff to adhere to the following guidelines as a preventative measure: • Limit prolonged interactions and stay more than 6 feet away from others when possible • Do not come into a company office for a period no less than 14 days if showing symptoms such as fever or cough. • Do not come into a company office for a period no less than 14 days after direct or indirect exposure to an individual showing symptoms or an individual who has been diagnosed as having the COVID-19 virus • Limit in-person meetings and keep them as short as possible.
EMPLOYEE WELL BEING
We promote a work environment where sick workers do not feel obligated to go into the office and bring additional risk to company personnel and by proxy our customers.
Employees have been reminded of company healthcare benefits available including convenient health services.
